Sailing (includes Regattas e.g. Tasar & 420 Vic c'ships)

Having fun sailing on Lake Hume is what we are about and we are passionate about encouraging others to try the sport.

There are many different types of sailing available from our Club;

  • Social sailing - Non-competitive participation that involves just going for a sail

  • Cruising - A form of social sailing where a destination to sail to is selected

  • Racing - A number of boats going round a course in a competitive structure. There are different levels of competition from more social or introductory racing through to serious national and international regattas.

If enjoying a Social Sail or Cruise on your own it is a good idea to let someone know when you are to return. To assist with this safety concept we have developed a "Sail Safe" form you can download below.

If participating in racing there are some downloads below that will be useful. These include the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions for the season.
