Safety Boat Fund 

This fundraising program will support the purchase of a safety boat and trailer for our yacht club. Our club organises many on water sailing activities including club racing every weekend, learn to sail programs for children, adults and school groups. We also run Sailability, a sailing program for people of all abilities. For these activities it is critical to have a suitable safety vessel in the water at all times - a vessel able to render assistance to and rescue people needing help.

Having a suitable safety boat will allow our club to grow by appealing to a wider cross-section of the community. Schools and community groups are, more than ever, concerned about the support infrastructure that is on hand to cover unforeseen events. Parents will be happier knowing that their children are being supported during their sailing by a dedicated, suitable safety vessel.
